Insulation
Insulation is a vital feature of any hot tub. It plays a huge part in your hot tub’s heat retention, meaning that the level and quality of your hot tub’s insulation will directly affect your day-to-day running costs.
The Infinity is insulated with Platinum Spas Premium Shield which combines five different types of insulation to retain the heat within the cabinet.
Around the perimeter and on the floor of the hot tub you will find a reflective foil to rebound some heat that would otherwise be lost from components such as the pumps and the heater. Finally, the Barcelona is also equipped with reflective polyurethane foam boards inside the side panels. This keeps the heat in and the cold out.

- The shell has several layers of ultra-efficient spray foam
- The hot tub has an additional 360-degree wall of reflective foil wrapped around the steel structure locking in heat

The Infinity boasts 4 x standard seats, 1 x captain seat, and 1 x lounger. Let’s take a closer look at what makes the loungers and the captain seat so special.
The loungers are the ultimate in relaxation and rejuvenation, providing a full-body massage for your back and legs. The lounger has a strong focus on your thighs and calves, thanks to the specially moulded seating and targeted jets on both sides of the legs.
If you suffer from upper back stiffness or pain around your shoulders or neck, then you’ll love the reverse moulded collar seat. This seat features jets which specifically target your upper body.
The whole concept of the Infinity hot tub is to spend around 5 minutes in each seat, and by the time you’ve moved from seat to seat you will have had virtually a full body massage. Hydrotherapy and it’s long list of health benefits has become increasingly popular and with Platinum Spas wide range of hot tubs, they’ve made targetted hydrotherapy accessible to everyone in the U.K.

Control System
The Infinity comes as standard with a Balboa Spa Touch 2, touchscreen control panel. This makes navigating the settings of the hot tub easy.
Water Purification
Clarity of water is important, that’s why this hot tub utilises the very latest in Ozone technology. But what does Ozone do? When used in conjunction with your regular hot tub sanitiser (e.g., chlorine or bromine), ozone will help to kill pathogenic bacteria, viruses and germs. Which means that you’ll in turn need less sanitiser, helping to reduce the amount you spend on chemicals whilst keeping your spa water cleaner and clearer.
Wi-Fi
Wi-Fi is an optional extra on the Infinity. This allows you to control the hot tub from anywhere in the world, you can set the temperature, change the filter cycles and much more.
Going away for a couple of weeks, you’ve set the temperature down but want the hot tub to be up to temperature for when you get back? With the Wifi upgrade, this isn’t an issue. Simply open up the app, change the temperature and prepare your favourite swimming trunks for your arrival back home.
