The Signature range of outdoor saunas by EIRA® was designed to be different: something that is genuinely high quality, designed to last and to look like it actually belongs in your garden, rather than just parked in it. It’s far more than a sauna, it’s a piece of art.
The Signature 300 is the largest of the three saunas in the range. From outside it looks like a beautiful cube with a flat roof, but, you would be mistaken- the roof slopes back into a hidden drain. The exterior is clad with 19mm thick charred larch, the carbon layer created from the charring process gives the wood natural protection against the elements. This results in less maintenance over time vs wooden cladding that has not been charred.
One of the most striking features is the huge panoramic glass front which spans the whole front of the sauna, in our opinion this is the absolute best way to enjoy your outside space whilst relaxing in your very own sauna.
Inside, it’s Thermo Aspen throughout, a 15kW HUUM Hive Heater, and a heated tiled floor, yes, you read that right. Did we mention that you can also add infrared heaters to these models? Well, you can.
The sauna is Wifi enabled when paired with the recommended HUUM control system, allowing you to control the sauna from anywhere with internet connection. There’s RGB lighting behind the backrest and under the top bench, allowing you to choose through a range of LED colours including the traditional warm white There’s also a Bluetooth sound system and a drain under the heater for when you throw water on the stones. Everything sits on a stainless steel frame with adjustable stainless steel legs.
It’s a luxury outdoor sauna we’d happily put in our own garden, and one we’re comfortable installing on commercial sites, as seen at the Tawny Hotel in Staffordshire.
Heated Ceramic Floor and Drain
Every Signature outdoor sauna by EIRA® has a ceramic tiled floor with underfloor heating beneath the walkable area. Tiles hold the cold, and because heat rises the floor is the slowest part of any sauna to warm up — which you may notice most in January, stepping in barefoot (it’s like stepping onto blocks of ice). The heated section takes that edge off before you’ve sat down.
The floor heating runs on its own control system, mounted at the rear of the sauna, with app control available so you can heat the floor up when it’s convenient for you.
Why is there a drain under the heater?
Because of löyly — the Finnish practice of ladling water slowly over the hot stones to produce steam, which is what turns a hot room into a sauna. Not all of that water flashes to steam; some runs off the stones and down onto the floor. In a luxury outdoor sauna with a tiled floor, that water needs somewhere to go, so we’ve put a drain directly beneath the heater.
RGB Lighting in Every Luxury Signature Outdoor Sauna
Every Signature outdoor sauna by EIRA® is fitted with RGB LED lighting as standard, set behind the backrest to wash upwards and beneath the top bench.
Choose from a full colour range — deep red, cool blue, green, warm white and everything between — and adjust the brightness to suit the session. Dynamic modes shift the colour without input. The result is a luxury outdoor sauna that allows you to set the mood.
Mirror Tint Glass Upgrade
Upgrade your sauna glass to Mirror Tint, a sleek way to help your sauna blend into its surroundings.
The mirror tint can provide additional privacy, but note, this isn’t applicable in all lighting conditions. The mirror effect is reliant on light balance, as the light balance changes, so does the transparency of the glass.
Infrared Upgrade With Control System
A hybrid sauna is one with two heat sources: a traditional stove producing high heat and steam when water is poured onto the stones, and infrared emitters producing a more direct heat. The Signature outdoor sauna by EIRA® can be specified as a hybrid, adding two infrared heaters recessed into the rear wall.
The two types of heaters produce different sessions. The traditional heater warms the air around you and gives you löyly when you ladle water over the stones. Infrared warms you directly, it’s a penetrating heat that targets deep into your body.
The infrared runs on its own recessed InfraBox panel with six intensity levels, kept separate from the HUUM controls so each heat source is set independently. Interchangeable backrests are included, positioned to suit use with the emitters.
Panoramic Glass Front
With the full panoramic glass front, sitting down on the bench can feel like there’s nothing between you and your garden — who knew a sauna could be the best way to enjoy your outside space. The glass runs from the floor past the ceiling line, so the view is uninterrupted. Sit back and take in the night sky.
It’s a considered piece of design, but the reasoning is practical. A luxury outdoor sauna with a full glass front puts you in your garden rather than shut away from it, and the seasons become part of the session — low winter sun, rain running down the glass, a clear night in autumn.
Mirror tint is available as an option, giving the exterior a reflective finish that helps the sauna blend in within its surroundings. It can also add improved daytime privacy.
Please note: mirror tint glass enhances privacy in certain lighting conditions but does not provide complete privacy. Visibility may vary depending on lighting conditions, including internal lighting and direct sunlight.
Stainless Steel Base With Adjustable Legs
Every Signature outdoor sauna by EIRA® is built on a heavy-duty stainless steel base as standard. It’s engineered to be lifted — by forklift or crane — so the sauna can be repositioned in the garden using specialist equipment or moved with you if you change address, rather than being a fixed structure you leave behind.
Steel also handles ground contact differently to timber. A wooden base sits in prolonged contact with damp ground and is subject to rot over time; stainless steel is not, which is why we specify it on a luxury outdoor sauna intended to stay outside through British winters.
Adjustable stainless steel legs are built into the frame, allowing the sauna to be levelled on a base that isn’t perfectly flat — useful on existing patios, slabs or gravel, where small variations are normal.
HUUM Heaters and Smart Controls
Every Signature outdoor sauna by EIRA® is supplied with a HUUM heater and control system, matched to the size of the sauna. The Signature 200 and Signature 240 are designed around the 9kW HUUM Drop, which runs on a 40A single-phase supply — an arrangement many UK homes can accommodate without upgrading the incoming service. The larger Signature 300 takes the 15kW HUUM Hive, which requires a three-phase supply. Both heaters are a considered piece of design in their own right, sitting within the interior of a luxury outdoor sauna.
Control comes through the HUUM black glass panel, paired with the heater and connected over Wifi to the HUUM app. You can start the sauna heater from anywhere in the world providing that your sauna is connected to Wifi and you have internet connection on your phone. You can even set schedules so it heats up at times that are convenient for you, and even set the HUUM heaters to run for a fixed duration. A door sensor is fitted as standard with every HUUM installation, preventing the heater from engaging while the door sits open.
Discreet Pitched Roof – Waterproof and Durable
Heavy Duty Door In A Metal Frame
We’ve been selling saunas a long time, but this is the first time we’ve seen a sauna with a door like this! The Signature Saunas by EIRA® have a proper, thick door that is housed inside a metal frame and even includes a brace at the top to stop the door from swinging all the way open.
You might think that this door is overkill, and for many people it could very well be. But, as this sauna has been designed to be suitable for commercial use, as well as domestic use, it needed a door that was very stable.
The door also offers a tight seal, helping to improve efficiency by keeping the heat in and the cold out.
Not only that, the door is also lockable, helping to prevent against unwanted use. The door is also unlock-able from the inside of the sauna.
Heavy Duty Door Hinges
We never expected to write a section about hinges. These earn it. The door on every Signature outdoor sauna by EIRA® hangs on heavy-duty hinges sized for the thick door. It’s a detail most people won’t think about until a lesser hinge starts to drop, and it’s part of why a luxury outdoor sauna door still closes cleanly against its seal years in.
Efficient Insulation
Every Signature outdoor sauna by EIRA® is insulated with 50mm rigid PIR board through the walls and ceiling. PIR holds heat well for its thickness, which improves the efficiency of a luxury outdoor sauna and helps it hold temperature between sessions. The board is aluminium-faced, adding a further layer of resistance to moisture behind the cladding.
Thermo Aspen Interior
Recessed Electrical Box
The electrical enclosure on every Signature outdoor sauna by EIRA® is recessed into the rear wall and lockable. Recessing it keeps the exterior looking clean, so there’s no box protruding from the back of the sauna where it would sit in view from the house or the garden.
The lock restricts access to the electrical components, which matters on a luxury outdoor sauna in a domestic garden and matters more on a commercial site, where an enclosure that anyone can open is a liability.
Charred Larch Exterior
The exterior of every Signature outdoor sauna by EIRA® is clad in 19mm charred larch. Larch is a dense, resinous softwood with a long history of outdoor use, and charring the surface builds on that — the process is a version of the Japanese technique shou sugi ban, in which the face of the board is burned to form a carbon layer.
That layer changes how the timber meets the weather, giving the surface a degree of natural protection and reducing the maintenance a bare timber facade would ask for. Visually it gives a luxury outdoor sauna a deep, textured grey/ black colour.
Bluetooth Sound System
Every Signature outdoor sauna by EIRA® includes a built-in Bluetooth sound system with two speakers. Connect a phone to the Bluetooth system and play your favourite songs and control the volume from your phone.
Some people want music in the sauna, some want silence, you may even want to experience both during a single session. Having the system fitted as standard in this luxury outdoor sauna means the choice is yours every time you use the sauna.
Foil Vapour Barrier
Every Signature Sauna by EIRA® is built with a foil vapour barrier sitting behind the internal cladding. In Front of the vapour barrier we have runs of wooden battens with an air gap, the internal cladding is then pinned onto the battens. This system keeps moisture where it belongs, inside of the internal sauna space and away from the saunas frame. A sauna cycles through heat and humidity every time it’s used, and without a barrier that moisture can work its way deep into the skeleton of the sauna, where over years it does slow, hidden damage.
How Are Our Signature Saunas By EIRA® Delivered?
How is a Signature sauna delivered and installed?
Every Signature outdoor sauna by EIRA® is built and finished at the factory, then delivered and lifted into position as a single complete unit. The specification is what drives this — the heated tiled floor alone takes several days to lay and cure, and the wall build-up, glazing and electrical housing are all integrated during construction rather than assembled around you in your garden. Building on site would mean a part-finished sauna standing open to the weather for weeks.
Delivery is therefore by crane, and suitable crane access will be required. If you’re unsure whether your property has sufficient access, let us know and we’ll look into it for you. Units are packaged for transit, and because the structure sits on a steel frame engineered for lifting, the same method allows the sauna to be repositioned later if you move house or change your mind about the spot — provided the right equipment and access are available.
Is the crane included in the price?
No. Crane hire is arranged and paid for separately, direct to the crane company. We can source a suitable operator on your behalf, or you’re welcome to arrange your own — either way, the cost sits outside the price of the sauna.
What base does it need?
We recommend a level concrete pad capable of taking the weight of a luxury outdoor sauna of this construction. Adjustable stainless steel legs are built into the frame to take up small variations, so a pad that isn’t perfectly true won’t hold up the installation.
Customisable Door Placement – Designed to Fit Your Space
Can I choose which side the door is on?
Yes. Every Signature outdoor sauna by EIRA® is available with the door on the left or the right of the glazed front, specified when you order. It’s a small choice that makes a practical difference: it determines which way you step in and out and how the sauna sits against a boundary.
Tell us the orientation when you place the order and we’ll build it that way. It’s set at the factory as part of a luxury outdoor sauna built as a single unit, so it isn’t something to change later.

Frequently Asked Questions
What makes the EIRA® Signature different from a standard outdoor sauna?
Three things: how it’s built, what it’s built on, and how it handles moisture. Every Signature outdoor sauna by EIRA® is completed in the factory rather than assembled on site, sits on a stainless steel frame rather than a timber base, and is designed with a full ventilation and vapour control strategy rather than just insulation and cladding.
Factory completion means every unit is built indoors under the same conditions and quality-checked before it ships, rather than being finished in a garden in whatever weather turns up that week.
The airflow design is where most of the engineering sits. There are two external vents and one internal vent, so you can control how long steam holds in the top pocket of the room. The tongue and groove cladding is fitted with deliberate expansion gaps, and there’s a ventilated cavity behind it, so the timber can move and moisture isn’t trapped against the structure. Behind that sit a vapour barrier. Timber in a sauna gets wet, heats and cools — the build is designed with that in mind.
The frame is stainless steel with adjustable stainless steel legs, which sits in permanent contact with the ground where timber would be most vulnerable to rot. It also means the sauna can be lifted and repositioned later.
Beyond that: 50mm PIR insulation, a heated tiled floor, charred larch outside, Thermo Aspen inside. Specified for domestic and commercial use — you can see one installed at The Tawny Hotel.
What power supply does a Signature sauna need?
The Signature 200 and Signature 240 run on a 40A single-phase supply, using a 9kW HUUM Drop heater. The Signature 300 uses a 15kW HUUM Hive and requires a three-phase supply. Most UK homes are single-phase, so if you’re considering the larger Signature 300 it’s worth checking your supply early — a three-phase upgrade involves an application to your network operator and can take weeks. We’ll confirm requirements before you order.
How is a Signature sauna installed?
It arrives as a single finished unit and is lifted into position by crane. The sauna is built and completed at the factory — the heated tiled floor alone takes several days to lay and cure — so there’s no on-site assembly. You’ll need suitable crane access to the installation position. If you’re not sure whether your property has it, send us the details and we’ll look into it.
Is the crane included in the price?
No. Crane hire is arranged and paid separately, direct to the crane company. We can source a suitable operator for you, or you can arrange your own.
What base does a Signature sauna need?
A level concrete pad capable of taking the weight of the unit. Adjustable stainless steel legs are built into the frame to take up small variations, so a pad that isn’t perfectly true won’t hold up the installation. We’ll provide the base specification before you order so your groundworker can prepare it correctly.
Can a Signature sauna be moved later?
Yes. Because the structure sits on a steel frame engineered for lifting, it can be craned out and repositioned — in the same garden or at a new address — provided suitable equipment and access are available at both ends.
Are the Signature saunas suitable for commercial use?
Yes. The Signature range is specified for commercial installation as well as domestic, the Signature 300 was installed at the Tawny Hotel in Staffordshire.
Can I have infrared as well as a traditional heater?
Yes. The Signature range can be specified as a hybrid, with two full spectrum infrared heaters recessed into the rear wall alongside the traditional HUUM heater. The infrared runs on its own control panel with six intensity levels, separate from the HUUM controls, so each heat source is set independently. Traditional heat warms the air and lets you use water on the stones; infrared warms you directly at a lower air temperature.
Can I choose which side the door is on?
Yes. The door can be specified on the left or right of the glazed front when you order. It’s set at the factory as part of a unit built in one piece, so it’s worth thinking about how you’ll approach the sauna and where you want the bench to sit relative to the view.
Where are EIRA® Signature Saunas manufactured?
The Signature range of outdoor saunas is designed in the UK by EIRA® and manufactured in Estonia, a country with a long-standing sauna culture.

Best outdoor sauna in the UK for the price point. It’s not ‘cheap’ but not much is these days, at least that’s worth having. The build quality and attention to detail is incredible, it’s also the first outdoor sauna I’ve seen that has a galvanised steel base with adjustable legs, which I thought was a great idea.
We’re obsessed with our new Signature 200. We use ours at about 85 Celsius which seems to be the ideal temperature for both myself and my wife to use it at the same time. I will generally use the top bench and she will use the lower bench that is a little cooler.
This looks even better in person. It’s a fantastic sauna, and the customer service has been exceptional- thank you.
After spending months looking at saunas online and visiting a few garden centres and showrooms we decided to go for the Signature 200 in the end and glad we did! Product and service has been fab, couldn’t be happier.
Very happy customers x
