If you are not using a primary sanitiser such as Chill Tabs, we recommend changing the water approximately once per week. Keeping the lid securely on the tub when it’s not in use will also help prevent debris from entering the water and keep it cleaner for longer.

To help maintain the condition of your Chill Tub Essential Inflatable Ice Bath, we recommend occasionally cleaning the inside surfaces with warm, soapy water before refilling.

If you would like to extend the lifespan of the water, Chill Tabs can be used as a sanitiser. However, it is important that the tablets are pre-dissolved in water before being added to the ice bath, as placing the tablets directly into the tub may damage the PVC material. You must then mix the water in the ice bath post applying the dissolved solution to the ice bath water.

When Chill Tabs are used correctly, and especially when paired with the optional Chill Tub Chiller and filtration system, the water can last significantly longer — in some cases up to three months before needing to be replaced.

To empty your Chill Tub Essential Inflatable Ice Bath, simply unscrew the ‘Water Out’ drain plug located on the side of the tub and allow the water to drain away.

Take care when operating the drain tap — avoid forcing it and turn it gently. Once the tub has fully drained, ensure the tap is securely returned to the closed position. It’s also good practice to check and clean the drain regularly to help keep it functioning smoothly over time.

Avoid cleaning your Chill Tub Essential Inflatable Ice Bath with strong bleach-based detergents, as these can damage the materials and degrade the waterproof seals.

To help maintain the condition of the tub, we recommend that whenever you drain the water, you wash the inside surfaces with warm, soapy water and rinse thoroughly before refilling. Regular, gentle cleaning will help extend the life of your ice bath and keep it in good condition for future use.
